Nia with Judi Lampert
NIA is designed for people of all ages who love to move. Nia is a non-impact aerobic workout using movement, melody, and rhythm. Combining the movements and concepts from Yoga, Tai Chi, Tae Kwon Do, Aikido, Jazz, Modern dance and more, this dance and movement class creates a total-body cardiovascular conditioning experience. This is a fun and easy way to get into fitness and movement. Providing more flexibility for your muscles and joints, Nia is magical and joyful.
Nia Instructor Judi Lampert, B.A., M.M, holds fitness certifications with ACE, AIFE, and SCW EDU; she is also a Certified Blue Belt Nia Instructor. She has taught group fitness, stretch, music, and ballroom dancing classes in community and university settings for over 20 years across the country. "Fitness isn't something you can bank ... you have to actively participate to become and stay youthful, healthy, fit, and positive. I don't go to work ... I go to fun ... and I love sharing that with people of all ages. It's exciting to see improvements in health, body, self esteem, and confidence for my students and friends."
