Flexibility training is an important part of a well-rounded fitness program; we need to incorporate stretching along with our cardio vascular conditioning and our strength training. We stretch to release stress and tension, to keep muscles long, to improve posture, to strengthen muscles to help prevent injury, to promote and maintain flexibility and mobility, and to relax.

Join Judi for a 5 minute warm up . then choose either of two twenty minute routines that will help stretch you from head to toe. The first routine incorporates all standing stretches with the assistance of a chair for balance work; the second routine uses standing and floor moves.

She has taught group fitness, stretch, music, and ballroom dancing classes in community and university settings for over 20 years.
